After training with the Scott Stevenson School of Dance from the age of three, Charlotte attained her first professional teachers qualification with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) in 2010. Since then, she has qualified in other professional examinations within the BATD as well as achieving a BA (Hons) in Dance Education at the Royal Academy of Dance, where she graduated with a 2:1 in 2013.
Shortly after graduating, Charlotte moved to Paris for a short time working as a performer in their Disney parks. She then lived in Tokyo extending her Disney career for two more years (2015-2017), and has since continued working special event and/or seasonal contracts, performing in a number of parades and shows, not only in Tokyo Disney Resort but also Hong Kong Disneyland. Charlotte also balances her teaching and performance work with modelling. She has worked in commercial (TV/publication), catalogue and magazine, promotional and runway modelling for a variety of brands, companies and events over recent years.
Charlotte is a former championship winner at regional and local level and a bursary winner. She has been trained in both BATD and RAD, including vocational examinations, and also achieved high grades for her GCSE and A Level Dance qualifications. She has taught freelance at local schools and academies for adults as well as children, and was also a guest teacher for Campioni Dance Academy in Sardinia in the Summer of 2017. Charlotte wants to continue to take further professional examinations, in the hope of becoming an adjudicator, examiner and lecturer in the future.
