Gaining a Qualification

We can train you for an International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and/or British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) qualifications. Both of these associations are recognised by the Council for Dance Education and Training (CDET), and provide you with a recognised teaching qualification.

We recognise there’s a lot of information to take in, so how quickly you can learn and qualify varies depending on how much time you can dedicate to your study. You can study at your own pace, having a lesson whenever you need one – there is no pressure take an examination at a certain time.

Not only would we cover the syllabus for your exam, but also teaching methods, exercises, faults and corrections – everything you need to become an accomplished dance professional.

Looking at Sylabii

We can give you and support to work through the Ballet syllabi of The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Modern, Stage, Tap, Freestyle and Ballet syllabi of BATD / IDTA.

Sometimes in our hectic teaching lives we need refreshing on a grade we’ve not taught for a while, and feel isolated – well there’s no need to. We can work through the actual syllabi, or help you with build-up’s for your students to achieve the work for their examination.

Needing Inspiration

We can give you ideas and inspirations to teach Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Contemporary, Street. We can give you choreography for any of your show dances.

We can offer you tuition on understanding technique, anatomy for dance, creative choreography, alternatives approaches to teaching dance, the business of dance - from setting up your own classes, running a school, audition technique, to freelancing as a dance teacher.

If you’re interested in any of the above, then contact us outlining a little bit about yourself, what you’d like to study, and when! Alternatively, if you don’t see what you need - then get in touch and we will tailor a package for you.

Please note, we can do one-to-one personal tuition or a small group with a maximum of 4 people.
